Big Winners in Dr. Pepper Open

Big Winners in tennis this weekend! Yes, it was hot at the Dr. Pepper Open tennis tournament in McMinnville this weekend, especially with White County players bringing extra heat to the courts! Sparta's Micah Wiles won the 12 & Under division. Micah is playing in his first season of tennis for White County Middle School. White County High School freshman Emmie Benningfield won the 16 & Under division and will be a great asset on the high school tennis team in the spring. Great job Micah & Emmie!

We were also proud of Claire Hawkins, John Durfee, and Ethan Wiles for solid performances and wins in the tournament.
