We're excited to be offering our very first Junior Team Tennis League with the USTA in the Upper Cumberland! Tomorrow at 1pm starts our match at the Fairfield Glade Racquet Center.

Here's what you need to know.
Always show up to a match 30 minutes early. If there are courts available, hit a few balls. If not, stretch with your team. We will lead some stretches at 12:40pm for our squad to get us warmed up.
The weather from 1-3pm will be great! 80 degrees and cloudy with only a 4mph wind. That's perfect! That means, bring water on court with you and bring a towel to dry your hands. I will bring a cooler full of iced bottle water.
I'm not sure if space is available at Fairfield glade, but I do plan on bringing my blue 10x10 popup canopy for us to put snacks and our cooler of water under. It will mark "our territory."
At this moment, plan to play singles and doubles. Some of this is dependent on how the Fairfield Glade team wants to organize it and how many players are joining for tomorrow.
Coaching - Parents are welcome to cheer and encourage. As per the USTA guidelines, only those background checked, tested, and certified by the USTA SafePlay system are allowed to coach the players during matches. I will be available moving between all active matches to help you in any way I can as you compete against other teams. I am limited to only coaching from outside the fence during changeovers and in between sets.
Remember - Tennis starts at love and is set in motion with service. Let's work hard to love and serve each other to increase our tennis abilities throughout the Upper Cumberland!
Be Patient and Graceful. Tomorrow is a first for the four of us coaches putting this tennis play opportunity together. Our new league may be figuring a few things out tomorrow.
