We're excited to provide a new tennis experience for our team. We have a special invitation to be court monitors, ball persons, and encouragers for the USTA NATIONAL Wheel Chair Championship! This is the BEST wheelchair tournament of 2024 on US soil! The most elite wheelchair tennis athletes from around the nation will gather at the 10-court tennis complex in McDonough, Georgia, about 4 hours drive south of Sparta. We are invited to be the volunteers!

Who: High School Tennis Players & Chaperones

When: Meet 4pm, Thurs, Nov 14 to caravan to Georgia. Return to WCHS Sunday, November 17th around 6pm.
Where: The 10 tennis courts of Richard Craig Park are located at address: 125 S. Zack Hinton Blvd, McDonough GA 30253. (230 miles away, 4 hours drive). Our team will sleep for free in separate boys/girls areas on cots in the gymnasium at Richard Craig Park. https://maps.app.goo.gl/WLr8HfQq57jYjFnV7
Transportation: Chaperones will drive providing transportation for our students in personal vehicles with signed transportation waivers.
How Much: $15 personal funds. Students will cover the cost of their own fast food trip on the way down to GA and their own snacks. We will cover the cost of a meal on the way back. All volunteer meals are provided by the tournament directors.
School: Students will have prior approval to be absent from class on Friday, November 15th.
