WCHS Tennis Team Semifinals Update

It's an exciting time as it's been years since we've had both a boys and a girls team qualify for the District postseason play! Our athletes continue to demonstrate improvement!

Warriorettes vs Lady Cavs

  • Women play at Cookeville on Thursday, 4/25, at 4pm. Our start is a little later due to testing. We will load a van and leave right after school at 3:15pm.

  • Our format for a team win will be 5 singles and 2 doubles matches. We need to win at least 4 of those 7 matches to move on to the district finals.

  • Singles matches will consist of a best 2 out of 3 sets to 6 games each. A 10 point tie-breaker may be played in lieu of a third set. Our singles players need to consider a longer match. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

  • Doubles matches will consist of a single 8 game pro-set, win by 2 games.

  • The winner of this match will play Monday against the winner of the Stone Mem/Warren Co match.

  • Forecast at match start is 70degrees, mostly cloudy, 3mph wind. Great tennis conditions!
