Two quick bits of encouragement.
A parent from Cumberland County middle school tennis team sent us a message. Read it below.
Our teams are featured in the newspaper! Check out the photo below of Micah reading the Expositor. You may want to pick up a copy for your scrapbooking purposes.
***Parent Letter sent Friday afternoon to my email***
Christopher,
My name is Courtney McShan and I’m a parent of one of the players from CCMS.
I wanted to send you a note of encouragement and praise from yesterday’s match.
The state of disarray in which we found our courts upon arrival yesterday was unexpected and unacceptable. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we hustled to figure something out.
I was incredibly impressed and inspired by your kiddos willingness to jump right in, lending a helping hand, and take on something that wasn’t theirs to worry about. No doubt that kind of culture is one created by you as their coach and the support and guidance of their parents.
What an example they set for not only our kids, but the adults as well, of camaraderie and collaboration in the midst of competition.
Please pass along my praise to them!
Wishing you a successful season,
Courtney McShan

Great job parents! We know life is short and you only have a few short years with your kids (I took one off to college last week!) We are grateful you trust us enough to let us grow and train your kids on their path to adulthood. It's an honor! Let's keep going and growing together!
Remember, tennis and life start at love and are set in motion by serving others.
Alright, enough mushy stuff. I'm going back to the garage to string racquets. Only 4 more practices left till we face the combined team of Avery Trace / Prescott Middle at home on Tuesday, September 2nd!
Grace and peace,
Topher
