Week 5 Preview - Home Opener!

It's an exciting week for WCHS tennis as we have our home opener on Tuesday against Dekalb Varsity! The beginning of the week looks like great weather while the weekend looks wet. We have a couple schedule changes as well. See the descriptions below.

• Monday - It'll be a chilly practice (5-6:30pm) but needed, especially for Varsity who are playing on Tuesday. Uniforms will be handed out. Remember to make your ladder challenges known on Monday so you have the rest of the week to schedule it. • Tuesday - Varsity Home Opener at 4pm! We host Dekalb County at home in our first big test of the season! We'd like our JV to stick around for this match. Please help setup immediately after school. Varsity, NO ONE CAN LEAVE until the last Varsity Match is completed and we've had our team meeting! Let's Go!

• Wednesday - Rest because middle school has the tennis courts from 3:30pm-5pm. You may get a challenge match on this day after 5pm.

• Thursday - Our Match against Canon County is postponed because their boys basketball team is playing in the State Championship this day. We will let you know when that reschedule date is soon. We will have normal practice from 3:30-5pm mandatory for all.

• Friday - JV & Varsity Match! This is a great first opportunity to travel to Middle Tennessee Christian School where all 24 of our athletes will get a match! We will dismiss early at 2pm. Drivetime is 1hr 15mins. We expect to arrive by 3:45 and begin a good long night of play. They have 6 nice courts to play on, a treat for us! • Saturday - Table Tennis Tournament is Postponed to April 6th. Saturday will be a good day for challenge matches if it is not raining.

• Sunday - Rest or reschedule those rained out challenge matches from Saturday. Welcome to tennis season!
