Hello tennis athletes! Welcome to your first JV scrimmage match at Dekalb County on tomorrow, 3/5. Here's the info you need to know.
Official Match start time is 4pm.
Weather Forecast: 60 degrees at 5pm and an 80% chance of rain. Our chance of play doesn't look good. We will make a determination by 1:30pm whether or not we will play and communicate through Remind.
Two school minivans are reserved for transporting 12 JV players. Any others will need to ride with a parent. It is important for athletes to ride together to events for team bonding if possible. Varsity players are welcome to come cheer on the JV players.
School vans will begin loading at 2:45pm at the back/rear of the school. We will roll out by 3pm. We will arrive at DeKalb Co. courts by 3:30pm which allows a 20 minute stretch and warmup.
Snacks, bananas, sandwiches, and water bottles will be on site for dinner. Please eat good meal for dinner tonight and a normal breakfast/lunch tomorrow. Avoid afternoon fatty/greasy foods before the match. Hydrate well!

Match time will last till at least 7:30pm. No JV player may leave until the last match is played. We support our teammates and each player/match matters!
DeKalb County JV has 5 boys and 7 girls. We will ask one of their boys to play two singles matches so all of our JV can get a singles match in. For the boys we will have 6 singles and 2 doubles matches. For the girls we will have 7 singles and 3 doubles matches.

If you want to be a parent driver for the team, please text a photo of your proof of insurance to Coach Topher.
Our purpose for this match is to give our JV team playing time and experience as the work their way toward varsity play in regular season. We want to have a deep bench of experienced athletes available when we get to post-season play at the end of April. This is a great time to have fun and grow in the game. Remember, tennis starts at love and we love our athletes!
