The White County Warriors and Warriorettes continued their dominant run through District 6A this week, logging their second consecutive 7-0 clean sweep by defeating Sequatchie County on Tuesday night. The victory was efficient, with every Varsity and Junior Varsity player recording a win.
Girls Results (Warriorettes)
The Warriorettes were nearly flawless in doubles, with all three pairings—Bouldin/Benningfield, Rittenberry/Flaminio, and Goff/Benningfield—recording 8-0 shutouts. The momentum carried into singles play, highlighted by 8-0 wins from Claire Hawkins, Alivia Davis, and Aleigha Weston.
Boys Results (Warriors)
The Warriors mirrored the girls' intensity. The duo of John Durfee and Ethan Wiles set the tone with an 8-0 doubles victory. In singles play, rookie Gabe Sweeney kept the sheet clean with an 8-0 win of his own, while Rhoane Whorton and Jagger Osborne handled business at the top of the lineup. Seth Smith, our 7th seed added to the successful night with an 8-6 win in exhibition play against Sequatchie's #1 seed.
