• Monday 8/24 Practice - 3:30pm - 5pm - Singles Strategies

  • We're excited that the temps and Real Feels are finally normalizing below 85 for a couple days. Practice will be at the high school at 3:30pm. Students who need it should ride bus 17 over from the middle school.

• Thursday 8/27 - Away Match vs Cumberland County Middle Schools - It's game time!

  • CC MS has 5 boys and 5 girls this season, so we'll have to be creative in our efforts to win the match and get playing time in for our lower seeds. I'll send an update later in the week.

  • We are reserving two vans for this match to transport students. We prefer students to either ride the vans or ride with their specific parent following school protocol. We will be able to transport 6 students (5 comfortably) in each van along with the driver.

  • We'll leave right after school. I'm still waiting on the opposing coach to confirm match start time.

Coach Southard!

Welcoming Andy Southard as an official assistant coach! He's a special education teacher at White County High School and an assistant coach for the high school girl's basketball team. Since he's at most practices & matches with Mila, he's a great asset for our team. We also coached baseball together back in 2019 for White County High School, so I already know his great professionalism and high athletic standards. We're glad to have Andy with us!

Make-Up Match & Extra Match!

• Our Make-Up Home Match against Prescott South is still in the works. Potentially Wednesday the 23rd.

• Extra home match with Cumberland County is now scheduled on Monday, September 28th.

  
  

  The Community Courts in Cookeville are still not open yet, so this schedule may still need to be flexible. Here's what it looks like.

DRINK SUPPLY:

Families, for this season, we're asking each family to pick up one (1) case of water, and one (1) case of any sports drink of your choice (Body Armor, Gatorade, Powerade etc). We'll store them in the big shed and use them throughout the season for all our matches and have some waters available for practice. Come drop them off at practices at some point this season. Thanks for being a part!
